ST MARY’S CHURCH
St Mary’s is the Parish Church near the centre of Liss, Hampshire. We offer a range of different worship styles from All-Age services and ‘Messy Church’ to BCP Holy Communion and Evensong. We endeavour to provide a warm and inclusive welcome to everyone. If you are interested in knowing more, details of services and activities can be found on this site. Sundays 8.30am Traditional BCP Holy Communion service
Sundays 10.15am Parish Communion Service (All-Age on the 1st Sunday of the month) (10.15am services will also be livestreamed)
1st Sunday of the month 6.30pm Informal Iona Holy Communion
2nd Sunday of the month 6.30pm Evening Prayer
Wednesdays 9.30am Traditional Holy Communion
Morning prayer takes place Wednesday-Saturday at 9am. This is livestreamed on the church Facebook page.
Booking is required if three or more are coming from one household to the 10.15am service. To book a place, please press the button below. Please ring 892552 if the booking system shows all the seats available have already been booked.
In order to keep us all safe and to protect the more vulnerable among us, please wear a mask.
The church is now open daily for Private Prayer or just a quiet space to be – every day 9am-6pm.
Full risk assessments have been completed in line with Government and Church of England guidelines
Live Streamed Services
Although services are restarting, we will continue to live-stream the Sunday 10.15am service from the church, on the St Mary’s Facebook page. The Sunday services will remain on the Facebook page for viewing later. This is to enable those who are unable to or are shielding, to join with us for the service in the church.
In addition, Morning Prayer will be said every morning at 9am (except Sundays and Mondays), again on Facebook.

Trinity 19 Sunday 18 October 2020
All Souls Service – 1 November
There will be a Service of Remembering and giving thanks for those who have died, on the afternoon of 1 November.
We are holding two identical services at 3.30pm and 6pm.
Due to current Covid restrictions we are making this a ticket-only service so you will need to book up here (free of charge):

A traditional service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer
Due to covid restrictions, there are currently no hymns being sung and we are not currently offering refreshments after the service
10.15am Parish Communion service using the Common Worship book
People can receive bread and wine or a blessing at the altar. There are Sunday groups for children 0-10. Children are in church for the beginning of the service, then, after the first hymn, they go to their groups: There is a staffed creche room for 0-3s in church; children age 4-10 meet in the parish Office. After the service, there are refreshments and all are welcome to stay.
